Rural del Prado (Expo Prado) is Uruguay's premier annual agricultural and livestock exposition, held each September at the Prado fairgrounds in Montevideo. Organised by the Asociación Rural del Uruguay, the 9-day event features international livestock competitions, agricultural exhibits, and cultural programming. While it runs only once a year, it draws large crowds and offers a fascinating window into Uruguayan rural life.
