Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum
About
The Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum is a private nonprofit museum in Athens, Greece, dedicated to the art of jewelry and goldsmithing. Housed in a neo-classical building near the Acropolis at Kallisperi 12, the museum is one of only three jewelry museums in the world and displays over 4,000 pieces spanning ancient Greek, Byzantine, and modern influences — all created by master goldsmith Ilias Lalaounis. Changing contemporary exhibitions, educational programmes including a summer jewelry school for children, guided tours, and artist residencies make this a unique cultural stop in Athens. Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00–16:00; Wednesday and Saturday 10:00–18:00.
