About
The Acropolis of Athens is Greece's most iconic ancient monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dominated by the Parthenon, a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena built in the 5th century BC. The sacred rock overlooking Athens also features the Erechtheion, the Propylaea gateway, the Temple of Athena Nike, and sweeping panoramic views over the city.
