Waterloo Central Railway is a volunteer-operated heritage railway running scenic passenger trains between St. Jacobs and Elmira in Waterloo Region, Ontario, with a stop in Waterloo. The Heritage Hopper service runs Thursdays and Saturdays from April to October, plus Tuesdays in July and August, allowing passengers to hop on and off at each village station. Specialty runs include evening dinner trains and seasonal themed rides. A unique and family-friendly way to explore the Mennonite countryside of Waterloo Region.
