Tropical Islands is Europe's largest indoor tropical resort, set inside a vast former airship hangar in Krausnick, Brandenburg, about 60 km south of Berlin. The enormous structure covers 66,000 square metres and recreates a tropical island environment year-round — regardless of the weather outside. Highlights include an indoor lagoon, multiple water slides (including the Jungle Splash), a dedicated toddler area, a sauna and spa complex, a wellness centre, and the OHANA Town entertainment zone. The park is open 24 hours and offers a wide range of accommodation from dome rooms and lodges to tent camping and glamping, making it as much a resort destination as a day-trip.
