Miraikan — the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation — is Tokyo's premier science museum, located on Odaiba island in Tokyo Bay. It houses hands-on exhibits on robotics, space exploration, the internet, and environmental science, including demonstrations featuring ASIMO and other cutting-edge robots. Note that the museum is scheduled to close for major renovation from October 2026 through approximately April 2027 — check current status before visiting.
