The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia is the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's companion facility near Dulles Airport, housing thousands of aviation and space artefacts including the Space Shuttle Discovery, a Concorde, the Enola Gay, and hundreds of historic aircraft. The enormous hangar displays allow visitors to walk among full-scale aircraft in a way impossible at the National Mall building. General admission is free; parking fees apply.
