Squamish Canyon

Squamish Canyon is a family-friendly rainforest adventure on the Sea to Sky Highway, about one hour north of Vancouver and 20 minutes from downtown Squamish. The centrepiece is an elevated boardwalk through BC coastal rainforest with canyon views, towering trees, and lookout points over the Mamquam River and Mamquam Falls. The Little Cedar Kids programme adds an activity book, wildlife spotting prompts, and a nature playground along the trail. A Forest Lounge and café provide food and rest stops. Note: the boardwalk has stairs — no strollers; a baby carrier is recommended for toddlers. Allow 1–2.5 hours including playground time. Book ahead; open rain or shine.
