República de los Niños in Gonnet, on the outskirts of La Plata in Buenos Aires province, is a beloved children's park and miniature city built in 1951 — reportedly the world's first dedicated children's theme park and an inspiration for Disneyland. The grounds feature scaled-down public buildings including a parliament, court, and shops where children can role-play civic life, as well as rides, a lake, and gardens spread across 52 hectares.
