Platja d'Alboraya is a wide, sandy beach in the municipality of Alboraya, just north of Valencia on the Mediterranean coast. The beach is famous as the best place in the world to enjoy authentic horchata (orxata) and fartons at the traditional orxateries lining the beachfront promenade. The calm, clean water and broad sandy shore make it an excellent family beach, easily reached by bus or tram from Valencia. Access is free.
