Parque Lezama is one of Buenos Aires' most historically significant and beloved public parks, located in the San Telmo neighbourhood. The park is said to be the site of the founding of Buenos Aires in 1536, and features beautiful mature trees, a bandstand, fountains, sculptures, and paths beloved by locals and visitors alike. The Russian Orthodox Cathedral stands adjacent to the park, adding to its distinctive character. The Buenos Aires History Museum (Museo Histórico Nacional) is located within the park grounds.
