About This Place
Parque Juan Carlos I is one of Madrid's largest and most modern parks, covering over 160 hectares in the northeast of the city near the IFEMA fairgrounds. Designed in the 1990s, the park features formal gardens, extensive lawns, artificial lakes with rowing boats, cycling paths, a rose garden, outdoor sculptures, and an Olivar de los Bonsái grove. It is a popular destination for picnics, cycling, and outdoor events, and is easily reached by Metro. Entry is free.
