As Europe's largest aquarium, Oceanogràfic offers a captivating escape into the world's marine ecosystems, providing families with educational and recreational experiences.

About This Place

Oceanogràfic is Europe's largest aquarium, located within Valencia's spectacular Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex. Designed by architect Félix Candela, the striking structures are inspired by water plants floating on a central lagoon. Inside, 42 million litres of water house over 45,000 animals from 500 species — including beluga whales, sharks, rays, penguins, dolphins, and a stunning coral reef. Open daily; advance tickets recommended.
