Noah's Ark Zoo Farm near Bristol is one of the UK's most ambitious family days out, spreading across 100 acres in the Somerset countryside. The zoo is home to the largest dedicated elephant facility in the UK, as well as giraffes, rhinos, lions, and a rescued tiger named Aqua. Daily keeper talks, animal meet-and-greet sessions, and adventure play areas keep children entertained throughout the day, and the Home of the Giants Challenge trail adds an interactive puzzle element to your visit. Somerset Safari evening events and school education programmes run throughout the year. Open 10:30–17:00.
