About
Kornati National Park is an archipelago of 89 islands, islets, and reefs in the northern Dalmatian Sea, designated a national park in 1980 for its extraordinary geological and marine biodiversity. The stark, largely uninhabited islands are characterised by dramatic limestone cliff faces (known as Crowns), crystal-clear waters, and rich underwater ecosystems popular with divers and snorkellers. The park is accessible by boat from Šibenik, Zadar, and Murter, and offers guided tours, sailing, and kayaking.
