National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool
About
The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool is a maritime heritage attraction at Jackson Dock, Hartlepool, centred on HMS Trincomalee — one of the world's oldest surviving warships still afloat. Visitors can explore the restored 19th-century warship, experience the Diving Deep exhibition about HMS Invincible, and take part in the Horrible Histories Pirates interactive experience. Live cannon and musket firing demonstrations are staged regularly, with an outdoor play ship, café, and gift shop completing the visit. Open Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00; open daily during Hartlepool school holidays.
