National Marine Aquarium
About
The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth is the UK's largest public aquarium, dedicated to showcasing the ocean and inspiring conservation. Set in the historic waterfront of Sutton Harbour, it features over 4,000 marine animals across immersive exhibits including a 2.5-million-litre Atlantic Ocean tank — home to sharks, stingrays, and huge shoals of fish — as well as a coral reef display, a UK waters zone, and interactive rock pools. The aquarium also leads active marine conservation and research programmes. A must-visit family attraction in Plymouth.
