About This Place
Una National Park in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina protects 19,800 hectares of pristine river valley landscape centred on the turquoise Una and Unca rivers, renowned for their spectacular waterfalls, cascades, and crystal-clear water. Designated a national park in 2008, it offers activities including rafting, kayaking, hiking, and wildlife watching, and is home to rare endemic species. The park's gateway town is Bihać, easily reached from Croatia and the rest of the Western Balkans.
