The Museum of London tells the story of London and its people from prehistoric times to the present day, with outstanding collections spanning Roman London, the Great Fire of 1666, the Victorian era, and 20th-century city life. The museum relocated from its original Barbican site to a spectacular new home in the West Smithfield market buildings, creating one of London's most ambitious museum redevelopments. Admission is free.
