Longleat is one of England's great family days out, combining a magnificent Elizabethan stately home with the UK's first drive-through safari park. The 9,800-acre Wiltshire estate is home to over 500 animals — including lions, tigers, giraffes, and zebras — and features the world's longest hedge maze with 1.69 miles of pathways. The Grade I listed house, opened to the public in 1949, showcases grand state rooms, a vast library, and fine art collections. Open mid-February through early November.
