About This Place
Lightwater Valley is a sprawling 175-acre family theme park in the North Yorkshire countryside near Ripon, with over 35 rides and attractions for all ages. Thrill-seekers can tackle the new Spinning Racer rollercoaster (launched 2026) and classic rides, while younger children enjoy gentler attractions, Swan Boats, and treetop nets. The park also features Jurassic adventure golf, live pirate and pantomime shows, multiple food venues, and a gift shop. Set in beautiful countryside, it's a full-day family day out.
