About This Place
Parc La Fontaine is one of Montreal's most beloved urban parks, spanning 36 hectares in the Plateau-Mont-Royal district with two artificial lakes at its centre. In summer it offers pedal boats, tennis courts, picnic areas, and an outdoor theatre (Théâtre de Verdure) hosting free concerts and performances; in winter the paths become cross-country ski trails and the ponds freeze for skating. Entry is free year-round.
