About
The Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays is one of Buenos Aires's most cherished green spaces, home to more than 1,000 plant species including tropical palms, native Argentine flora, cacti, and an extensive herbaceous collection. Named after the French landscape architect who designed it at the turn of the twentieth century, the garden features a butterfly garden, resident bird populations, shaded promenades, and free educational programs for all ages. It sits in the heart of the Palermo neighborhood and is freely open to the public every day.
