Góra Żar

Góra Żar (857 m) is a mountain peak in the Silesian Beskids of southern Poland, best known as one of Poland's top paragliding and hang-gliding launch sites with sweeping views over the Żywiec foothills. In winter, a small ski area operates on the slopes, and a historic cable car (kolejka linowa) provides access to the summit — one of the oldest in Poland. The mountaintop also offers a bar and a scenic viewpoint, making it a pleasant family excursion in any season.
