About
The Zagreb Funicular is one of the world's shortest public funicular railways, connecting the Lower Town (Ilica Street) to the Upper Town (Strossmayer Promenade) in just 66 metres. Built in 1890, the bright red cars have been ferrying locals and visitors up and down the steep hill ever since. A quick and charming way for families to access Zagreb's historic Upper Town, with beautiful city views from the top.
