About

Earl Bales Park is a 51-hectare urban park in North York, Toronto, sitting between Bathurst Street and the West Don River valley. It is home to Toronto's only remaining alpine ski and snowboard facility, along with a community centre, an outdoor amphitheatre, a dog off-leash area, and forested ravine trails. The park also contains the Canadian Society for Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and a Jewish cultural heritage garden. It is named after Robert Earl Bales, a former North York reeve.
