Diana Fountain
About
The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain is a public water feature in Hyde Park, London, designed by Kathryn Gustafson and opened in 2004. The fountain is a large oval ring of 545 Cornish granite pieces through which water flows in two directions from the highest point, cascading, bubbling, and swirling before calming into a still pool at the base. Three stone bridges cross the ring, and visitors are welcome to wade and paddle at the shallow edges. Stewards are on duty during peak periods. Free to visit. Open year-round: April–August 10:00–20:00; September 10:00–19:00; March and October 10:00–18:00; November–February 10:00–16:00.
