The Calesita of Parque Avellaneda is a beloved free carousel (calesita) located within Parque Avellaneda, a large public park in the Parque Avellaneda neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. One of the few surviving traditional calesitas in Buenos Aires, the hand-operated merry-go-round has delighted children for generations and remains a cherished symbol of Buenos Aires park culture. Rides are free and operate on weekends and public holidays.
