The Whirlpool Aero Car is a historic cable car attraction at Niagara Falls, Ontario, suspended 76 metres above the turbulent Niagara Whirlpool and carrying passengers on a 1-km round trip with spectacular aerial views of the gorge, rapids, and the powerful whirlpool below. Opened in 1916 and still operating on its original design, it is one of Canada's oldest amusement rides and a unique perspective on the Niagara River.
