The Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge is a remarkably well-preserved WWII underground operations room that directed RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain in 1940. Guided tours of approximately 60 minutes take visitors down to the original plotting room, complete with atmospheric soundscapes and authentic equipment, followed by exhibitions on the Polish Air Force and the Dieppe Raid. A 95-seat auditorium, café, and gift shop complete the visitor experience. Admission: Adults £12.50, Seniors £10, Under 16 free. Open daily 10:00–16:30.
