The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the best-preserved Roman engineering works in the world, stretching over 800 metres through the centre of Segovia and standing up to 29 metres tall at its highest point. Built in the 1st or 2nd century AD without mortar, this UNESCO World Heritage structure dominates the city's skyline and remains a remarkable symbol of ancient construction skill. Entry to the viewing area around the aqueduct is free.
