Algonquin Provincial Park
About
Algonquin Provincial Park is one of Ontario's most iconic and beloved natural destinations, a vast 7,630 square kilometre wilderness of lakes, rivers, and forest in the Canadian Shield. The park offers world-class canoeing, kayaking, hiking, camping, and wildlife watching — including frequent moose sightings — as well as interpretive centres, guided ranger programmes, and a popular Logging Museum. The Highway 60 corridor provides easy access to visitor facilities, while the park's interior offers true backcountry wilderness for experienced paddlers and hikers.
