The Play Zone at Downsview Park in Toronto is a free, aviation-themed outdoor playground anchored by a real deHavilland DHC-1 Chipmunk aircraft. Children can scramble over aviation-inspired play structures, bounce on mini-trampolines, and shoot hoops at the basketball court, while families enjoy the sharing circle and BBQ picnic tables with propane grills. Part of the wider Downsview Park greenspace near Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue West, the playground opened in 2017 and is free to visit year-round.
